Tides of Brisbane Boat Tour

We’re heading upstream for an historical tour that will splash into the stories of our past.

Hop on board a historical boat ride around the riverbend that dives deep into the history of Brisbane and the many stories that have helped shape our city. Following our team’s many months of extensive research, guests on MoB’s exclusive Brisbane history boat tour will delve into stories from our city’s past, including:

• First Nations lives and experiences around the river
• Early colonial impressions on the area, convict history and early migration stories
• Contemporary and historical buildings of significance that played a part in the urban development of our city
• The Story Bridge as a major crossing point and economic boost for Brisbane during difficult times
• Flood stories throughout the history of the river
• Personalities and places linked to the river
• And more…

As well as soaking up the many fascinating stories from Museum of Brisbane’s professional tour guides, guests will experience unforgettable views of Brisbane from the river and enjoy a pit stop at one of the city’s top local breweries, operating under the iconic Story Bridge.

Starting from the lush oasis of the City Botanic Gardens pontoon, join us as we meander past convict-built structures, historic landmarks and incredible feats of engineering. Make the most of our city’s sensational  weather and bask in the river breeze on this 3-hour tour like no other!
