Artist in Residence: Dead Puppet Society

Back by popular demand! Mark your connection to Brisbane in collaboration with Dead Puppet Society.

Dead Puppet Society is a Brisbane-based design-led theatre company. As Artist in Residence, they responded to the exhibition themes explored in Making Place: 100 Views of Brisbane through a participatory project titled I Know A Place.

During the residency, you’re invited to reflect on Brisbane locations – both public and private – that are significant to you.  Once you have written a response, post it through Dead Puppet Society’s custom-made centrepiece.  These collected memories will help inform place-based storytelling in the future.

We sat down with Dead Puppet Society to learn more about their residency. Read the Q&A here.
