Writing is a coded and powerful tool, used to record history, create works, disseminate knowledge, persuade and affect. The Storytellers will explore the power of the written word by commissioning Brisbane writers to respond to the evolution of place, playing on both individual and collective memories. The writers will bring to life parts of Brisbane’s history through a series of short stories which form the heart of the exhibition.
