Museum of Brisbane (MoB) offers insights into the unique perspectives of Brisbane by prioritising contributions from local artists, the community, writers and all creative contributors. We invite individuals and organisations to access, partner and collaborate with our programs through the initiatives described below.
Museum of Brisbane’s Artist in Residence program invites visual artists, designers, poets, writers, curators, musicians and performers to explore our compelling exhibitions, programs and collection.
BRISBANE ART DESIGN (BAD) is MoB initiative that stimulates a city-wide celebration of visual art and design. BAD animates creative spaces, parks, laneways, galleries, studios and unconventional sites both throughout our city, and online.
Join the MoB community to share your love of art, history and culture with other like-minded people. Community has never been more important, and MoB is a place where people come together to discover Brisbane.
SUNNIE is a new bi-annual lifestyle magazine celebrating Brisbane and its people. SUNNIE looks at what’s happening in our city, unearths the cultural gold, explores our history and reveals the contemporary, cosmopolitan and confident city Brisbane is today.
Contribute to a garden of crafted fabric sunflowers to adorn the walls of The Storytellers. To get involved, send in a sunflower and we’ll add it to the community garden. Your donation could be crocheted, felted, embroidered, knitted or created with a punch-needle.
