Explore the Making Place: 100 Views of Brisbane salon hang with artist Pat Hoffie.

In 2022, Brisbane-based artist Pat Hoffie was invited to respond to the artworks on display in Making Place: 100 Views of Brisbane. Pat spent long hours in the exhibition over several months, absorbing the layered stories and contemplating the aesthetics on display. Drawing on the imagery of the exhibition and discussions with the community, Pat developed a series of creative writing responses that celebrate the lesser-known stories of Brisbane, enriching our cultural knowledge of the city. These responses have formed a self-guided audio tour that you can listen to as you journey throughout the space. The tour is divided into chapters that can be experienced in any order.

Pat’s creative writing responses have also been published in When Pictures Whisper Stories, available at MoB Shop.  Buy a copy online today!
