The People’s Dancefloor

Brisbane participants donned leg warmers and sequins as Common People Dance Project turned Museum of Brisbane into a vibrant city dance party!
In this immersive experience, Museum of Brisbane became a glittering, energetic dance party where community stories shone.

The People’s Dancefloor celebrated community, belonging, and movement, bringing everyday voices and experiences to life through dance.

Whether you came to dance, share memories, or simply enjoy the energy, everyone belonged in this celebration of rhythm and togetherness.
