King George Square Showdown

It was the ultimate dance battle — Northside, Southside, Eastside, Westside — who brought the heat to the heart of the city!

Head Common Person Neridah Waters led a massive, all-in, feel-good dance showdown in front of Brisbane City Hall. Participants learned the moves on the day, then strutted their stuff with their teams and celebrated community, creativity, and sheer dancefloor joy.

Participants who had never danced participated with all their energy and showed up with glitter and good vibes. They learned the steps, repped their sides, and owned the floor.

MoB’s Artist in Residence program is supported by Tim Fairfax AC.
Presented by Museum of Brisbane in association with Brisbane Festival.
