Christmas Crafty Party with Rachel Burke

Don’t just deck the halls these holidays, cover them with sparkles with a very special crafty party brought to you by Tinsel Queen, Rachel Burke.

Grab a glass of bubbly and get ready to top off the year by making your very own floral Christmas tree topper inspired by Rachel’s practice. Featuring bright colours and her trademark sense of humour, cap off your Christmas tree with colour and joy and make some new creative friends at this Christmas Crafty Party with a twist.

About Rachel Burke

Rachel Burke is a practicing multidisciplinary artist, designer, and author based in Brisbane, Australia. Best known for her vibrant, tactile wearable artworks and iconic tinsel creations, her work is inspired by a love for naive craft materials and transforming the mundane into the magical. She has worked on many creative collaborations with global brands including Disney, LEGO, Barbie, and Airbnb and her work has been acquired by clients across the globe, including Harry Styles, Kesha, Ru Paul’s drag race stars and Beyonce’s child Blue Ivy.

Rachel has exhibited her artwork in gallery spaces across Australia, including Museum of Brisbane, Saint Cloche Gallery, Hamer Hall, The Australian Centre of the Moving Image, Enough Space, GAFFA, and the Redlands Art Gallery.

She has published three books with Hardie Grant. Craft Roach, Be Dazzling and Daphne & Daisy.
