Exhibition changes at Museum of Brisbane:

  • Gallery 2 and Clem Jones Gallery will be closed until 2 April 2025, and Adelaide Street Gallery will be closed until 22 March 2025 for exciting new exhibition changes.
  • Quiet Afternoons will now start at 3pm (instead of 2pm) until 2 April 2025.

How to get here

Museum of Brisbane is located in Brisbane City on Level 3, City Hall. Upon arrival, a Learn Educator will meet school groups in King George Square. If facilitating a self-guided Learn experience, enter through King George Square, turn right at the staircase, and take Lift 7 or 8 to Level 3.

BUS

There are a number of buses that stop along Adelaide Street and Ann Street as well as many services which stop in King George Square bus terminal, located a short walk from City Hall.

CHARTERED BUSES

The Museum does not have a coach park.  Coaches may stop briefly to drop-off and pick up from the City Hall entrance on Ann Street. However, buses are not permitted to wait in this area.  Roma Street Parklands, located a short walk away has longer term parking available.

TRAIN

The Museum is a 10-minute walk from Central and Roma Street train stations.

CAR

There is undercover paid parking available in King George Square car park with entrances on Adelaide Street and Roma Street.
