MoB Teens: Zines with Izzy

Cut, paste and publish!

Teens can step into a world of creativity and bring their own DIY zine to life! Mash up images, words and ideas to build a unique mini publication, guided by artist Izzy Heaton.

Warm up with a mini tour of Precious with Izzy to soak up all the punk-inspired posters and badges, then let your hands go loose in the studio! 

Raid the camera roll, bring bits and pieces, or dive in and create something totally unexpected. A fun, hands-on workshop for teens who love to create.

Meet the artist

Izzy Heaton is a Brisbane-based artist and painter who loves creating playful self-portraits, especially through the art of zine-making. Currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Art) at QUT, Izzy explores identity, emotion and storytelling through her art, using bold ideas and creativity to capture what makes people unique.
