Man & Wah: Botanical Photography Workshop

Come on a cosmic journey with artists Man & Wah in this botanical inspired workshop.

Drawing on their exhibition CELESTON 2, Man & Wah invite you to join them to get out into nature and learn how they capture cosmic worlds in a 2 hour intensive workshop that’s perfect for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced photographers.

Starting in the lush surrounds of Brisbane’s Roma Street Parklands, capture the beauty of nature in the early morning light before returning to Museum of Brisbane to enjoy a guided tour of the CELESTON 2 installation with the artists.

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to learn from the experts in a one-of-a-kind immersive workshop that’s perfect for all abilities.


Things to know:
  • Attendees will meet at 8am in Roma Street Parklands outside ‘The Garden Room Café.
  • This workshop requires you to supply your own camera. Cameras can include film, digital or mobile phones. Tripods are strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
  • This workshop is suitable for patrons aged 18+. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed and attending parent/guardian.

Inspired by nature and the cosmos, Man & Wah are brothers who work together to produce large-scale visual works, moving images, digital content and installation experiences, collaborating with a diverse range of people and projects across Australia and the globe. They explore the relationships between society, humans and the natural environment. Man & Wah have displayed their work at the World Science Festival, BOTANICA, Splendour In The Grass festivals, BIGSOUND and the Commonwealth Games Arts and Culture Program.
