Public Art Walking Tour

Students are invited to scout the streets of Brisbane City on a guided walking tour that will unpack the city’s vast public art collection.

By exploring the cultural and historical meanings of each piece, as well as the time period at which they were crafted, this tour encourages students to explore Brisbane’s evolving identity.

Inclusions

Walking Tour (1.5 hours)
A guided walking tour of the Brisbane CBD, exploring a range of art situated beyond the gallery walls. This tour provides an opportunity for students to examine the representations and historical events that have inspired the artworks which line our city streets.

Distance: 2km
Difficulty: This tour is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.
