What is SUNNIE?

SUNNIE is a new bi-annual lifestyle magazine celebrating Brisbane and its people.

SUNNIE looks at what’s happening in our city, unearths the cultural gold, explores our history and reveals the contemporary, cosmopolitan and confident city Brisbane is today.

Both ‘about’ and ‘by‘ Brisbane’, SUNNIE showcases the city’s rich talent of writers, photographers, authors, artists and designers, and is proudly published by Museum of Brisbane. It celebrates the city’s vibrant creativity through in-depth storytelling taking readers on a deep dive to understand Brisbane today. Support local creatives by grabbing a copy!

SUNNIE is published in Brisbane, Australia, on the traditional lands of the Yuggera, Turrbal, Yuggarrapul, Jinabara, Quandamooka and neighbouring clan groups. We pay our respect to their ancestors and elders—past, present and future.
