Architectural photography by Richard Stringer
Richard Stringer has spent years looking at buildings and capturing them on film. As an architectural photographer with over forty years’ experience, he has photographed many of Queensland’s historic buildings, as well as the best local contemporary architecture.
With the photographs in this exhibition, Richard showed us places from Brisbane’s past and present that he particularly liked. Some of the places no longer exist and Richard has drawn the photographs from his archive. Other images had been created specifically for the exhibition and drew our attention to the capacity for the built environment to delight us and enhance our lives.
