Perspectives of Brisbane Exhibition Tour

In this guided exhibition tour, students will gain an insight into the many key historical moments in Brisbane’s history that have impacted our city.

Program Overview
Explore Brisbane’s past and present and how its people, places and environments interact by tracing the social history of our city from multiple perspectives. What were the effects of European settlement on the local environment and the nature of contact between Aboriginal peoples and early settlers? This experience provides opportunities for students to develop historical understanding through key concepts including continuity and change, cause and effect, perspectives and empathy.

Audience: Primary and Secondary, Suitable for Grades Prep -12
Curriculum Areas: History, Indigenous perspectives, Humanities and Social Sciences, Visual Arts
Fees: $150 per tour
Duration: 30-60 mins
