Brisbane Immigration Focus

100% Brisbane Immigration Focus

This award-winning exhibition invites you to contribute to this incredible portrait of the city with students asked to have a say on Brisbane as they interact with the ABC Radio Booth, Brisbane DNA quizzes, and our interactive wall providing facts about our everchanging city. Learn about the Indigenous, convict and modern history of Brisbane and the defining moments that have shaped our city.

This program combines a guided tour of 100% Brisbane with a presentation and workshop with MDA (Multicultural Development Australia). Students will explore Brisbane’s immigration history and engage in discussions on the reasons for, and impacts of immigration. They will be asked to articulate their own ideas and opinions and explore ethical concepts and government positions on past, current and future immigration.
