MoB Learn Assist

MoB Learn Assist is a school subsidy scheme to support Queensland students and teachers from low-socio economic backgrounds to access Museum of Brisbane’s MoB Learn programs, including school excursions and professional development events.

Schools that meet eligibility requirements will receive financial assistance for travel and program costs. Schools from regional areas are particularly encouraged to apply. Teachers and tertiary students can access subsidised professional development events.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Schools must have an ICSEA value of 1000 or lower in order to be eligible for the scheme or be able to articulate the need that will be addressed by accessing the subsidy. ICSEA values can be found by visiting the My School website and searching the name of your school.
  • All MoB Learn programs are eligible, including virtual tours and experiences. See our education programs for current MoB Learn offerings
  • Each school may receive up to $2,200 towards the cost of travel and program fees. Additional funds may be allocated on a case by case basis.
