Monday 6 April 2015 marks two years since we re-opened on the roof of City Hall. Join us in celebrating our two year anniversary by taking a walk down memory lane.

Over the past two years, we have opened 11 exhibitions that celebrate the stories, people and places of our city:

We won a few awards…

  • The River: A history of Brisbane won the MAGNA award for best permanent exhibition or gallery fit out
  • We won bronze at the Heritage and Cultural Tourism Category at the Queensland Tourism Awards
  • Our online exhibition 10 Years, 10 Stories won the MAPDA award for best multimedia
  • Our website won the MAPDA awards for best institution website and best program website

We opened the Museum Shop
