#AskACurator day at Museum of Brisbane
Last week the Museum participated in #AskACurator day on Twitter and our curators, Phillip Manning and Melinda Gagen, were eager to share their knowledge and some of their favourite pieces in the Museum’s collection.
Every year #AskACurator is your chance to get answers from curators all around the world to those questions that pop in to your mind each time you see a great exhibition.
Coordinated by @AskACurator since 2010, this year saw 1079 museums from 51 countries take part, with 44 069 tweets between them and the questioners.

If you have a different question for one of our curators, you don’t have to wait until the next #AskACurator day rolls around in September 2016. Get in touch with us on Twitter or via email, and we’ll be happy to answer them.
