Formerly known as the Indigenous Culture and Learning Program, Living Cultures has grown to embrace a diverse range of artists and experiences. Explore the diversity of local Aboriginal knowledge systems, perspectives and histories through the sharing of Indigenous stories and rich cultural traditions. Interactive and engaging, this program addresses identity, Country/place, culture and people through storytelling, dance, music, visual art, workshops and an exhibtion tour.
This program is delivered in partnership with Aboriginal dance group Nunukul Yuggera, Digi Youth Arts, Aboriginal artist Carol McGregor and Museum education staff. Each artist group offers their own perspective on First Nations stories, ensuring your session is a unique experience every time. Bookings are now available throughout the week but don’t delay as this popular program will sell out.
Want the convenience of a classroom visit? This program is also available as a Living Cultures incursion, bringing the museum direct to your school.
