Children’s Christmas collage workshop

Children learn collage techniques and decorate their own Christmas cards in this family-friendly workshop inspired by Stephen Nothling’s The last street in Highgate Hill.

Master the art of watercolour and capture your own Brisbane scene in this outdoor workshop led by local artist Maria Field. Suitable for 13 years and up.

 
 

Playing with light: Stained-glass window workshop

Discover the art of playing with light like William Bustard in this colourful, hands-on workshop. Children can create and take home their very own stained-glass artwork to hang on their window.

 

Cloud Land Little Lens activity booklet

Available as a free download or collect your copy from the Museum reception.

Little Lens engages both parents and children with the photographs in Robyn Stacey: Cloud Land.  Designed for children aged 5 – 13, this booklet can be done independently or with parental assistance.

 
 

Short story competition

Are you, or do you know a writer aged between 12 and 18 years?  Be inspired by Robyn Stacey: Cloud Land and enter a short story to win!

Clock Tower tours

10.15am – 4.45pm daily
Every 15 minutes
Free, tickets allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Take a trip up the Clock Tower in one of Australia’s oldest hand-operated lifts.  A must-do for the whole family!

 

Museum of Brisbane will be open 10am – 5pm daily across the school holiday period, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
