Taking to the Streets
They publicly challenged injustice and discrimination and demanded the right to be treated equally, regardless of race, class, gender or sexuality. This exhibition told the story of a period in Brisbane that began in the 1960s and continued until the 1980s, when people took to the streets and were confronted by the full force of a conservative State Government.
