The exhibition, David Nixon: A Quiet Immanence comprised of a series of six large-scale lino block prints produced by Brisbane based artist David Nixon.
David Nixon: A Quiet Immanence
The lino blocks had been cut with a builder’s electric drill rather than a small hand-held cutting tool. Traditionally linocut works are small in size but Nixon pushed this medium to new limits by producing prints of almost one metre in height and width.
