Choi Jeong Hwa Wind & Earth 2011

Was located at:
Pedestrian footbridge, Mains Rd.
North-east corner of Mains and McCullough intersection, Sunnybank.

International artist Choi Jeong Hwa conceived two eye-catching works inspired by Sunnybank. His works respond to the status of art institutions and artworks in consumption-driven environments. Consisting of almost 800 metres of fluoro yellow and pink tulle, Wind zigzagged and weaved through the pedestrian footbridge, and was complemented by Earth, a small maze of 3,500 bright red plastic fruit bowls.
