ABC Radio Brisbane

ABC Radio Brisbane has supported the Museum as Media Partner since 2013, connecting their listeners to the people, places and stories of Brisbane through features, interviews and tours showcasing the Museum’s ever-changing exhibition program.

Visitors to the Museum also have the chance to hear their own stories on air by making a recording in the 100% Brisbane ABC Radio Brisbane Booth. You can listen to some of the previous submissions online here.

Australian Bureau of Statistics

The Australian Bureau of Statistics is Australia’s national statistical agency, providing trusted official statistics on a wide range of economic, social, population and environmental matters of importance to Australia.

As a Supporting Partner of the nationally award-winning exhibition 100% Brisbane, the ABS assisted with Census data that was used to help find the 100 real-life residents featured in Brisbane DNA that statistically represent our city in the fields of gender, age, place of birth, residential location, and household composition.

Brisbane Airport Corporation

Brisbane is one of the world’s most liveable cities and Brisbane Airport is the premier gateway to the city, state and nation for more than 22.5 million travelers each year.

Brisbane Airport Corporation is the Presenting Partner for 100% Brisbane, a nationally award-winning exhibition that pulls back the layers of our city to discover the very real heart of Brisbane’s story.

Of the partnership, Brisbane Airport Corporation CEO & Managing Director Julieanne Alroe said “everyone has a story, we see this every day at the airport, so an exhbition that reveals who we are as a city, where we come from and where we’re going, is something we were thrilled to get behind.”

Brisbane Markets Limited

Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) is the owner of the Brisbane Markets® site, which includes the Brisbane Produce Market and Brisbane Flower Market. As Queensland’s only central fruit and vegetable market, the Brisbane Produce Market is the state’s most important centre for the marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables.

BML partnered with the Museum for the first time in 2017 as Supporting Partner of Tastes like Sunshine, an exhibition that explores the flavoursome side of our city’s character and reveals its rich and evolving food story through contemporary art, personal stories and historical documents, images and objects.

Gadens

Gadens is a leading national law firm with a strong local presence in Brisbane for more than 20 years. They pride themselves on exceptional work quality and service standards, creative client engagement, their people, and their support of the community and the arts.

Gadens was one of the very first companies in Brisbane to partner with the Museum, and over the past three years have supported the presentation of exhibitions including David Malouf and friends, Robyn Stacey: Cloud Land, and Robert Andrew: Our mutable histories.

As Technology Partner of the nationally award-winning project 100% Brisbane Hitachi Australia’s Digital Presentation Solutions (DPS) collaborated with the Museum by using their extensive range of superior data projection technologies to bring the exhibition to life.

Hutchinson Builders has partnered with the Museum for the first time in 2017, as Presenting Partner of Sit. Pose. Snap. Brisbane Portrait Photography 1850 – 1950. Family values is an essential part of the Hutchinson Builders ethos, and so the Museum invited Hutchinson Builders to include a 1932 wedding portrait of Jack Hutchinson II & Lily Collins in the exhibition title wall of Sit. Pose. Snap.

As an Exhibition Supporter for nationally award-winning exhibition 100% Brisbane, JCDecaux provided outdoor signage solutions across their Citylight network the both the launch and subsequent campaigns.
